I have an Honours Degree in Genetics and PhD in Molecular Genetics from The University of Leeds. After completing my PhD I moved to the University of Leicester and then ADAS Consulting as a Research Scientist. For the last 12 years I have worked in secondary schools and as a private science tutor. I have many years experience working 1:1 and with small groups of students to improve their understanding of science.

One-to-One Zoom Lessons
Lessons are personalised to suit your requirements. One to one tutoring means you can focus on what is important to you.
Some students feel like they have missed the basics - so starting from the beginning is helpful. Other students feel out of their depth with certain topics - so focusing on those topics using a combination of teaching and questioning to ensure understanding before moving on.
We can focus on end of unit test revision, help understanding homework, how to get the most out of the required exam practicals, drawing and interpreting graphs, maths based questions and of course - final exam preparation.

Exam Preparation

Exam technique is critical to successful outcomes for GCSE and A-Level. During the run up to GCSE and A-Level exams, completing lots of exam papers together will ensure you understand how to answer tricky questions and provide you with confidence when you enter those final exams. All lessons are prepared for the specification and exam board used by your school or college.

I would highly recommend Natasha - she has been working with my son for a couple of months now and we have seen a significant improvement in his grade and more importantly, he is now enjoying the subject. Very pleased to be able to have connected with her and been able to have her support.

I have worked with Natasha for a number of years and she has a very professional and caring approach when helping students in their learning. She is always very patient and gives clear explanations and pays particular attention to detail. Her planning was always above and beyond what was expected as Natasha is keen to help each student achieve their full potential. She has a huge amount of knowledge and knows her subject well.
Sara - BHBS Hereford
I've been tutored by Natasha for a few months now and I have definitely seen an improvement in all my science grades she is very helpful and when I don't understand a bit of some work she will help me to understand it by explaining it further and using examples and exam questions to work through the topic.
